The homeowners, a young couple in their early thirties, started their married life in this single story, ranch style home in a Pennsylvania suburban neighborhood. The husband was violently attacked and murdered while visiting a nearby city. The wife was expecting their child when he died on Halloween night, October 31, 2008. The Keystone Paranormal Investigation Team concurred that this appeared to have the potential of a haunting due to the husband meeting such a violent and untimely death and having unfinished business with the impending birth of the child.

Throughout the day of his death, the lights in their home flickered on and off and the family dogs began acting in a bizarre manner, growling, snarling, and pacing as though witnessing an unseen presence. Strange occurrences continued in the home with a wide variety of disturbances reported to the Keystone Paranormal Investigators. Doors would open and close, items would mysteriously move from one location to another, shadowy figures and unexplained balls of light would reportedly appear.

On April 10, 2009, Keystone Paranormal Investigators, Brian, Robb & Leo conducted an investigation at the request of the surviving homeowner. The team set up eight (8) cameras, several digital audio recording devices, and their thermal imaging recorder. Team members conducted EMF (Electric Magnetic Field) readings throughout the investigation. The investigation team performed surveillance of the residence from 9 p.m. till 2 a.m.

Afterwards the team carefully reviewed many hours of audio and video footage. Keystone Paranormal Investigators were able to uncover only one audio recording that was of great interest, captured when all parties in the home were accounted for. The audio recording contained what appears to be a man’s voice and occurred immediately after the homeowner asked for a sign of her husband’s presence in the home. The homeowner reviewed the audio capture and she verified that the voice on the clip sounded very much like that of her deceased husband.

The homeowner was advised to keep a detailed journal describing all future incidents in the event Keystone Paranormal would be invited to follow up on the investigation.
