Malevolent Spirits....

Recently, I had my eyes opened to Paranormal events, and I now have to tell you this story, it is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me!

I was in town (DuBois, PA) for a business trip and was visiting some friends. While I was at the home, I noticed that the rooms were dark and kind of "foggy"? I made this visualization to another friend who stated that the house was "haunted" and that, since they had moved in, it has been like this. They began telling be of strange sounds heard all over the house, things moving and horrible smells coming from all over the home. Mark and his wife then told me that someone was coming over the next day to "bless the home". Being that I was staying the night, I would be able to see this "blessing" and it's invalid ritualistic jargon... oh goodie!

The next morning, we were sitting at the kitchen table waiting for the guy to get there, when I noticed the cabinet door opening and shutting by itself. Mark said that this always happens and sometimes, a glass will even fly out at you. I laughed and passed it off as a joke, after-all... ghosts' aren't real right!?!?

Approximately an hour later, the doorbell rang and I was expecting a priest, wearing black (just like the Exorcist movie) to walk in the door. Instead, it was a well-dressed young man with glasses and a business-like demeanor. He immediately apologized for being late and stated that he was a Paramedic (this was a shock.. in the Catholic Church, only Priest's can do this stuff) and he had a late call. He was a soft-spoken young man with intense faith and stature, despite being short for most people.

He began by saying that if there was anyone in the home "not saved", that they now had a chance to leave the residence or to "give his/her heart to the Lord". Not being sure, I prayed the Sinner's Prayer with him, as did Mark. After this, he stated that it was important to "confess your sins" to God and that they all must be confessed so that Satan could not use them against you. We all sat and prayed silently, confessing our sins and then prepared for the blessing/exorcism.

Upon beginning, he opened his little book up and began quoting the Bible and asking for guidance and protection during this blessing. Immediately, the home began to creak and things began to move. He then began quoting the Bible and all the verses about the power of God against Satan. The more he read the louder the noises got and the move things began to move.

After what he called the "confession of the word" was completed, he then began quoting the Bible and all the verses that rebuked the Devil and asked us to say "In Jesus Name We Pray" after them. A horrible smell began to fill the house (it smelled like a dead animal on the side of the road) and a growling sound could be heard all around us (I have never been so scared in my life!!). He moved from room to room, rebuking and quoting the Bible with awesome authority. In the final room, he continued to bless the room with oil and quote the Bible. The thing became outraged and a low growl and scream could be heard. Finally, he spoke one final quote and a loud "bang" could be heard, as though a window had shut. The home was brighter, the smell was gone and so was the thing that, though I initially denied, really was haunting it.

Until now, I have never been a believer in the whole ghost thing, but this was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! The guys from TAPS are plumbers and this fellow was a Paramedic. This was awesome and I have a totally new appreciation for you girls/guys who help people by doing this stuff. God Bless! ~ D. O.
